Preparing For Facelift Surgery

Now that you have arrived at the decision to have a facelift, you need to get everything ready and prepared the day before your procedure.  Here are some useful tip on how to get ready for your facelift surgery and the recovery.

If you have a job then you will need to make provision with your employer for time off.  You need to find out from your doctor how long the expected recovery time is; then request enough time off from your employer to cover for both the surgery and the recovery time.

If on the other hand you are self-employed, you will need to make arrangements for your employees to take care of the necessary things that are a required part of your business while you will be out.

Depending on your business it may be necessary to inform your clients of your approaching absence.  If you are a freelancer then you may want to let them know how long you will be unavailable and that you will contact them as soon as you are available to accept new jobs.  You do not need any business or job responsibilities to worry about when you are having any form of surgery.

Next in line is to make sure your necessary living expenses are taken care of.  For people that have jobs that offer vacation that can be drawn on this is not an issue.  However, when you work for yourself it is a good idea to have some money saved up that will cover the normal expenses.  You do not need to be worrying about how you will be paying your bills while you are recovering.

Finally, you will need to have someone to run errands for you and if you live alone, someone that can check on your periodically. While you are recovering from facelift surgery you will need to get plenty of rest.  You should have someone to drive you home after the surgery and to check that you have what you need while you are recuperating.
